Green.Building.Solutions.

First-hand ecological knowledge and engineering expertise bundled in a three-week program, taking place at the capital of energy-efficient building, Vienna. Think sustainable, take care of your future now!

OeAD student housing organizes two academic summer universities every year: With the ongoing climate crisis as a starting point, they comprehensively deal with the topic of sustainability – both in the construction and building sector, as well as at the overarching level of our economic and financial system: “Green.Building.Solutions. (GBS)” and “Alternative Economic and Monetary Systems (AEMS)”. Both programs are held in English.

Green.Building.Solutions.
(GBS) – 16 July to 7 August, 2022 | 7 ECTS

As a Master-level program, the GBS summer university invites students of architecture, construction, engineering and similar fields to deepen their knowledge in sustainable architecture, ecological design, passive house planning and new energy technologies, and to incorporate the gained knowledge in a multicultural  and interdisciplinary group design project.

Application deadline for scholarships AND to receive the 7 ECTS:
April 4th, 2022

Alternative Economic and Monetary Systems
(AEMS) – 18 July to 5 August, 2022 | 5 ECTS

Against the background of the climate crisis, AEMS is an interdisciplinary program focusing on alternatives and reform proposals for our current economic and financial systems: International participants learn why a drastic system change is necessary to stabilize the world climate at 1.5°C – and most importantly: they are presented with an array of alternative approaches!

Application deadline for scholarships:
May 2nd, 2022
